Weekly Results – McCurdy Fuels Stableford

Peter Tweed claimed the McCurdy Fuels sponsored Stableford at Ballymena Golf Club, coming out on top after four players finished tied on 40 points.
Tweed Takes Victory on Countback
Peter Tweed (17) recovered from a double bogey at the opening hole to put together a strong round in testing competition.
After his difficult start, Tweed responded with four consecutive pars before a run of four bogeys saw him reach the halfway point with 20 points.
He opened the back nine with a par before dropping shots over the following holes. Pars at the 13th and 14th kept his challenge on track, and a crucial par at the closing hole proved enough to secure 40 points and the overall victory on countback.
Warwick Takes Second
James Warwick (27) also returned 40 points to finish runner-up.
Warwick accumulated 21 points on the front nine before a difficult start to the back nine left him with work to do. He responded impressively, including a birdie at the short par-four 13th, before finishing strongly to add another 19 points and reach 40 overall.
Martin Completes the Top Three
Alastair Martin (21) was the third player on 40 points, recording 21 points on his front nine and 19 on the back.
